About

Scraps is a disability-led gaggle of activists, artists and queerdos sharing insights and learnings from the paths rarely taken. We create a place for unfinished ideas, joyous mistake making, creativity, curiosity, and collective imagination.

Ever Growing Resource Collection

As a part of our exploration of Community we are constantly producing new materials to share inspired by our interactions with you!

Tailor-made Community Building Workshops

Through our "Lego-Brick" approach to workshops we are able to mix and match different activities to create a workshop that meets your group where you are.

  • Unique to you
  • Content that scales with your experience

You are the Experts

All of our resources and workshops are anchored on curiosity and collective exploration.

Our Story

We found each other through our work in activism circles, campaigning on a variety of issues from the climate crisis and disability justice to workers rights and local community projects.

Our group formed out of a belief that the strength of our communities is what gives us the power to create futures we would want to live in.

We believe that to be human is to be messy and joyful, to be activists is to be passionate and care imperfectly and to be a community is to not only offer support to each other but to create space for rest.

Through SCRAPS we hope to share our learnings and build on our collective skills to be people peopling into an uncertain future.
