Bite-sized nuggets of knowledge.
A zine is a small, self published, booklet often printed at home and self distributed. Zines have a long, scrappy and colourful history within punk, feminism, and queer movements.
We landed on Zines as practice in our work as they fit beautifully into our aims when it comes to Community Building:

Choose one of our Zines to print off on your home printer. Or practice on a sheet of paper.
Fold your zine as shown. Fold lengthwise then unfold. Fold widthwise, like a book, and then fold the two open "book pages" to the "spine".
Flatten your page back out and make the "booklet" fold again. As shown in the diagram, cut across the spine to the midpoint. Unfold and flatten again.
Fold lengthwise and push in the edges slowly, the centre will open to form your four pages. Fine your front page and crease to create your Zine!
Don’t stop there. Once you know how to fold a Zine you can make your own! We’d love to see your designs!
